Zip-Chem Expands-Moves to New Facility in Morgan Hill, CA

Zip-Chem Products, a major supplier of aviation maintenance chemicals, today announced its move to new, larger headquarters in Morgan Hill, California. Located 15 miles south of Zip-Chem's original site in San Jose CA, the new facility doubles manufacturing and formulating capacity while greatly expanding storage and special packaging capability. "Demand for corrosion inhibitors, special purpose lubricants, preps and cleaners has grown sharply. This new facility indicates our commitment to meeting the need," said Chuck Pottier, Zip-Chem President.

The Morgan Hill opening follows by four months the launch of Zip-Chem's new plant in Indianapolis IN. Together, the two plants greatly expand Zip-Chem's capacity to formulate, package and supply aviation maintenance chemicals. "This expansion also demonstrates our commitment to meet the emerging need for turnkey suppliers. Leaders in aviation maintenance look for formulators who can provide much more than specified product delivery. Today we must deliver contaminant-free product application systems, minimize waste, reduce environmental impact and assure proper handling and disposal.
